Burgundy has a network of cycling routes and green lanes which are unique in France. Around 1,000 km of signposted and secure cycling itineraries are reserved for cyclists.
If you are tempted to discover Burgundy by bike, our hotel has bikes (traditional and electric) for hire.
Electric Moustache hybrid bikes: €60 / day
Traditional Lapierre bike (a Burgundian brand based in Dijon): €35 / day
We provide an extra battery for the electric bikes.
The Climats de Bourgogne were added to the UNESCO world heritage on 4th July 2015. This was the recognition of the unique character of the vineyards between Dijon and Beaune and as far as Santenay.
Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Le Montrachet… names which enthral all wine enthusiasts … These villages with their enchanting names can all be reached in under 15 minutes by car.
On foot, by car, by bike, in a carriage, but also in an ultra-light, a helicopter or a hot-air balloon… there are many ways of visiting the Burgundian vineyard. The wine-growers will take you round their cellars to taste the exceptional vintages.
No need to present Beaune, the hotspot of wine and good food, it’s famous enough already. With its unusual shopping streets, a lot of them pedestrian, Beaune is a good place to wander around in, shop and enjoy the food.
There are around 500 shops in Beaune where you will find local crafts, regional produce and souvenirs and of course the nectars of the Burgundian vineyard. And in the many restaurants in the town you can sample the best Burgundian specialities.
We are available to help you book with our catering colleagues.
